Artic® is continuously pushing out the frontiers of the ice universe. By keeping a close track of the most recent trends in the food industry and by carrying on an open dialogue with the suppliers, the R&D department again and again succeeds in developing surprising products that go along with the needs of the modern consumer.

Artic® also pursues stringent quality standards for the ingredients as well as for the production and hygiene. Our products are subject to the most rigid hygienic regulations and the environmental legislation in force. As a consequence, Artic® ice cream products meet the prescriptions of the British Retail Consortium (BRC).

Artic® ice cream products also meet the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points standard (HACCP).

In addition, our in-house lab continuously monitors the products.

Artic® also stands for product flexibility. The compact, but highly versatile machinery offers Artic® a wide variety of ice technologies. Push ups, cones, extrusion products, cups and sleeves are all produced in-house. As a consequence, we can combine all our products in delicious variety packs.

In conclusion, Artic® undertakes to offer perfect services to its customers. On time deliveries, proper and attractive packagings and support actions towards the end consumer are all part of the engagement Artic® wishes to fulfil!

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points

The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points, or in short HACCP, imply that the production process is continuously analysed for risks and dangers.

A perfectly designed HACCP-programme that is applied strictly, will considerably reduce the microbiological, chemical and physical dangers in the food products. In case there might be a problem, rapid and effective intervention is possible, thus avoiding that large batches have to be rejected so as not to jeopardize public health.

Examples:
- microbiological dangers: Listeria or Salmonella
- chemical dangers: lubricants, cleaning agents or disinfectants
- physical dangers: wood, glass, plastic, metal
